Hi,

Can you believe that I’ve been sending out this newsletter for 10 months?

I got a job! I’m working at a record label in Detroit called Young Heavy Souls. My official title is Social Media Manager but I’ll be doing things like producing photo/video content, making their weekly email newsletter, and posting to their social accounts. I’m super excited for this opportunity and it’s almost like I prepared myself for a job like this!?!

I’m living at home right now, which is interesting. At least now I can degrade myself by saying that I live in my parent’s basement. I’m excited as can be for summer, it’s also weird that I get to break myself free of the school-summer-school model of looking at time, because I don’t have to go to school anymore.

I feel like recently I’ve come across so many books and podcasts that are so applicable to me! It makes this whole newsletter thing a lot easier, but I’ve also started a /journal portion of my website to share more of my writing. So many things to do!

Note to self: Remember to focus on one thing at a time! (I just made a video about that). Okay, sorry. At this point I’m just plugging everything I’ve made recently. I’ll shut up now. Oh yeah, speaking of… Josh and I have released a few more podcast episodes.

• Places + Faces by Aminé: I honestly had this song on repeat for the whole month. Aminé just seems like such a lovable guy. The video makes me want to go travel the world with my friends!

• Shoes by BLANKTS: Funny story, I “met” Kathryn (BLANKTS) in 2015 back when I was making Call of Duty videos. We’ve kept in touch, and she’s a super-duper talented singer.

• Monte Carlo (feat. WET) by Toro y Moi: There’s finally nice weather in Michigan, this song is great for jamming with the windows down.

• Go To Town by Doja Cat: I’d never heard of Doja Cat until about a week ago, hopefully I can show her to you. Her voice is so ~infectious~
