Hello newsletter people, Dude, KOBE! I canāt believe it. So sad for so many reasons. Kobe's death has me thinking about this life calendar that I recently hung on my wall. The calendar (pictured below) shows your hypothetical life in weeks until youāre 90 years old. I thought that this visual would be helpful to realize that my life will be long and that Iām not behind. Idk why but I have this feeling that Iām perpetually behind. I digress. I realized that this calendar makes an incorrect assumption. That I will make it to 90 years old. Kobeās premature death was a harsh reminder that death knows of no boundaries. It doesnāt follow rules. Itās not fair. Life is so fragile. How do you reconcile short terms plans for long ones? What if you sacrifice all of your today's for a tomorrow that never comes? How do you focus on the moment but also prepare for the future? These are things that I have no answers to, just questions. In times like this Iām compelled to be a better person. To say the things I know I should but don't. To do the things that I know I should but still don't. JUST TRY!!!
